Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP)
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) is an employer sponsored program where employers in Atlantic Canada hire foreign skilled workers who want to immigrate to Atlantic Canada.
Job offers in this program are not required to have a LMIA.

AIPP Process
- Employer gets designated
- The Employer finds a candidate
- A job offer is made to the candidate
- Employer submits the application for endorsement
- Temporary work permit for the candidate (optional)
- Permanent Residence for the candidate
Features of the AIPP program
- Work permit is an optional component of AIPP.
If the employer has an urgent need for the candidate, a work permit under the International Mobility Program: Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP) – Work permit stream (exemption code C18) - If the candidate is married, the spouse of the candidate is eligible for a Spouse Open Work Permit (Spouses or common-law partners of skilled workers exemption code [C41]).
- If the spouse has children, the children as also eligible for study permits (if studying age) or visitor visa (if below studying age).

If the employer offers a job to the candidate in NOC 0, A, B, then the applicant is eligible for the Atlantic High-Skilled Program.
The requirements of the AHSP are as follows:
- At least 1560 hours (1 year) of paid work experience in a NOC 0/A/B in the past 3 years.
- At least secondary education (Class 12 in India)
- IELTS CLB 4 minimum in each module
- Full-time job offer, for at least 1 year
- Job must be in skill type 0, or skill level A, B

If the employer offers a job to the candidate in NOC level C, then the applicant is eligible for the Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program.
The requirements of the AISP are as follows:
Option 1:
- At least 1560 hours (1 year) of paid work experience in NOC level C in the past 3 years
(Experience does NOT have to be in the same NOC as the job offer) - Self-employment experience is not counted.
- At least secondary education (Class 12 in India)
- IELTS CLB 4 minimum in each module
- Full-time job offer, permanent
- Job must be in skill type 0, or skill level A, B, C
- as a registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse (NOC skill level A 3012)
- as a licensed practical nurse (NOC skill level B 3233)
- a nurse’s aide, orderly or patient services associate (NOC skill level C 3413)
- a home support worker (NOC skill level C 4412)
